High school student Ichigo Kurosaki leads a normal life until his family is targeted by a Hollow, a malevolent spirit that devours human souls. During the attack, he encounters Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper who is wounded while defending Ichigo’s relatives. To protect his family, Ichigo accepts Rukia’s proposal to assume her powers, thereby becoming a Soul Reaper himself. Since Rukia cannot recover her abilities, Ichigo takes on the difficult responsibility of eliminating the Hollows infesting their town. He is not solitary in this mission, as he is eventually aided by his friends and classmates Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryuu Ishida, each possessing distinct talents. As Ichigo and his companions adjust to their new roles and support one another both in combat and daily life, the young Soul Reaper discovers that Hollows are not the sole danger threatening the human world.

In 1868, English aristocrat George Joestar and his son Jonathan owe a debt to Dario Brando after being rescued from a carriage accident. However, the Joestars remain unaware that Dario never intended to help them—he thought they were dead and was merely looting their possessions. Twelve years later, following Dario's death, George adopts his son Dio as a way to repay the supposed debt. Though Dio outwardly acts affectionate toward his new father, he secretly plots to seize the Joestar wealth. His initial move is to drive a wedge between George and Jonathan. By consistently outshining his foster brother, Dio solidifies his position in the Joestar household. But when Dio pushes Jonathan too far, Jonathan bests him in a physical confrontation. As the years pass, the two appear to have become close friends to outsiders. Yet trouble stirs again when George falls ill, and Jonathan suspects Dio is somehow responsible—and that he has further schemes in motion.

Convicted ninja Gabimaru the Hollow, weary from a life steeped in violence, feels he deserves his death sentence and remains indifferent to his fate. Yet, every execution attempt inexplicably fails. When Sagiri Yamada Asaemon, a young member of a renowned executioner family, is assigned to end Gabimaru’s life, she refuses. Citing his lingering love for his wife as the reason he cannot die, Sagiri proposes a deal: Gabimaru can earn a full pardon if he retrieves the Elixir of Life from the mysterious island of Shinsekyo for the shogun. Despite the fact that no previous expedition has returned sane, let alone alive, Gabimaru joins ten other death row inmates in accepting this perilous mission, driven by the hope of finally reuniting with his wife in peace.

When You learns that his new friend was beaten up by a local gang, he decides to get revenge with the help of Amidamaru, a samurai ghost whose tomb was broken by the gang leader. Soon, Manta discovers more about the spirit world, including the Shaman Fight, which his new friend You aims to win.

When a person dies, their spirit travels to the Soul Society, its ultimate destination. Yet, if a soul lingers in the human realm for too long, it degenerates into a malevolent Hollow that consumes other spirits. To combat these threats and escort the lost dead, Soul Reapers are tasked with purifying Hollows and guiding souls. Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki, experienced Soul Reapers stationed in Karakura Town, face a new challenge when they encounter the Blanks: mysterious entities lacking memories and resistant to the standard burial rituals. Their situation is resolved by the arrival of Senna, an unfamiliar Reaper who drives the Blanks away. The enigma intensifies when a phantom version of the human world materializes above the Soul Society. As the strange occurrences continue, questions arise regarding their cause and their potential link to Senna, who remains tight-lipped about her past.

Following his intense confrontation with Ichibei Hyousube, the leader of the Soul Society's Royal Guard, the mighty Yhwach advances to the final phase of his grand scheme. Meanwhile, a figure from Hitsugaya's past haunts his thoughts as he pursues the real culprit.

A mysterious pair attacks Rukia Kuchiki in Seireitei, wiping her memory. Substitute Soul Reaper Ichigo Kurosaki briefly forgets Rukia until Kon, an Underpod Mod-Soul, reminds him of her. Confused, Ichigo seeks out Kisuke Urahara, the candy-shop owner in his town, who opens a path to Seireitei for them. There, Ichigo is shocked to find that his allies among the Soul Society's Shinigami have forgotten him. Filled with action, Kimi no Na wo Yobu follows Ichigo and Kon as they battle their former comrades while searching for the missing Rukia and uncovering her assailants before they can strike again.

Ushio Aotsuki is a stubborn middle school student and the son of an eccentric temple priest. In the American Old West, the greatest race in the world is about to commence. Thousands gather in San Diego, aiming to cover over six thousand kilometers for a shot at the fifty-million-dollar grand prize. As the age of the horse draws to a close, participants are permitted to use any type of vehicle. Racers must endure harsh conditions, traveling up to a hundred kilometers each day across uncharted wilderness. The Steel Ball Run is truly a race like no other. Young Johnny Joestar, a former horse racer now confined to a wheelchair, arrives in San Diego to witness the start of the race. There he meets Gyro Zeppeli, a competitor who carries two steel balls at his waist instead of a gun. Johnny sees Gyro use one of his steel balls to unleash an incredible power, forcing a man to shoot himself during a duel. In the chaos, Johnny accidentally touches the steel ball and feels a surge of energy flow into his legs, allowing him to stand for the first time in two years. Determined to uncover the secret of the steel balls, Johnny decides to enter the race, and thus begins his bizarre journey across America on the Steel Ball Run.

In a secluded village, twin siblings are born, their lives divided between day and night. Years pass, and the elder brother Yuru works as a hunter of animals, while his sister Asa remains confined to a cage, assigned a special task that prevents her from meeting anyone beyond a chosen few. One ordinary day, armed men arrive in helicopters—referred to by the villagers as "dragons"—and attack the settlement, killing every adult they see as they search for Yuru. As Yuru tries to reach Asa to escape together, he discovers only her corpse; moreover, the person who killed her claims to be Yuru's actual twin sister. Before this woman can seize him, Yuru is saved by Ryuu "Dera" Tadera, an outsider who often visits the village. Soon, however, the two find themselves cornered. As a final resort, Dera has Yuru present an offering to the village's deity, summoning a pair of daemons whose very existence is destined to unveil the truth behind the turmoil.

A depressed apathetic young man named Takamine Kiyomaro is suddenly given a small demon named Gash Bell to look after. Unbeknownst to Kiyomaro, Gash is involved in a fierce contest to decide who will rule the demon world. Each demon must select a human master on Earth and battle other demons until only one remains. Naturally, Kiyomaro becomes Gash's master, and through their many fights, he learns the importance of friendship and courage.

This OVA is the first animated feature for Bleach, premiering at the Jump Festa 2004 Anime Tour before receiving a DVD release. Created prior to the anime's television debut, it functions as a pilot episode and presents a special version of events from episodes 8 and 9. Kurosaki Ichigo, the substitute Shinigami serving under Kuchiki Rukia, learns that one of the Hollows he has been tracking is the same being that killed his mother. He engages it in combat, driven by a vengeful sense of pride.

A secret tournament is taking place to decide who will become the next ruler of the Heavenly World. In this contest, 100 Heavenly Beings, called "God Candidates," must each choose a middle school student on Earth to receive their power. These chosen students then battle one another on behalf of their God Candidates. The winner of the tournament receives the "Blank Talent," which lets them pick any unique ability they desire, while their God Candidate becomes the "God" and king of the Heavenly World. Kousuke Ueki, a middle school student, is chosen by his homeroom teacher Kobayashi and given the power to turn trash into trees. Despite worries from his classmate Ai Mori, Ueki sets out to follow his own sense of justice after seeing others misuse their powers for selfish reasons. As he faces skilled power users like Seiichirou Sano, Rinko Jerrard, Robert Haydn, and Hideyoshi Soya, he discovers that reaching his goal will be much more difficult than he thought.

A Shinigami named Baishin, imprisoned by Soul Society ages ago, breaks free on Earth. One day Ichigo crosses paths with him and loses nearly half his reiatsu. Now Ichigo and Soul Society must join forces to halt Baishin's rampage.

In Treasure Town, the streets are controlled by a group known as "The Cats," who are said to know everything happening in the city. No one can cause trouble without facing them first. In truth, The Cats are just two orphaned boys, Black and White, who fear nothing and no one. However, their dominance over the streets is threatened when the Yakuza arrive and begin to transform the town. The wild Black and the carefree White have only each other to depend on as they fight to reclaim their Treasure Town.
