Synopsis

Continues the story of Hell's Paradise

In "Hell's Paradise," Gabimaru the Hollow, a worn-out ninja sentenced to death, faces his end with acceptance, yet each attempt to kill him fails without explanation. Sagiri Yamada Asaemon, a young member of a prestigious executioner family, is assigned to carry out his punishment but refuses, recognizing that Gabimaru's deep love for his wife keeps him from truly dying. Sagiri offers Gabimaru a path to redemption: if he retrieves the Elixir of Life from the mysterious island of Shinsekyo for the shogun, he will receive a pardon. Despite the island's dangerous reputation—no one who goes there returns unchanged—Gabimaru, along with nine other condemned prisoners, begins this perilous journey, driven by the hope of a peaceful reunion with his beloved.

In this installment

In search of the elusive elixir of immortality, the group reaches the fortress of the island's monstrous sovereign, the "Tensen." Survival and escape from the island depend on cooperation among everyone, regardless of whether they are condemned criminals or their executioners. Meanwhile, the shogunate sends more forces to the Immortal Realm island under the command of Shugen Yamada Asayemon. Among the new arrivals is the Ishigakure clan, which has a past with Gabimaru. With the urgent need to acquire the elixir and depart the island, Gabimaru and company engage the Tensen, leading to an all-out conflict between humans and immortals.
