High school freshman Houtarou Oreki's only ambition is to live a gray life while conserving as much energy as possible. Otonokizaka High School has been saved! Even though μ's had to withdraw from the Love Live!, their efforts generated enough interest to prevent the school from shutting down. Moreover, after the conclusion of the first event, a second Love Live! is announced, this time on an even grander scale. Given a chance for redemption, the nine girls reunite to sing their hearts out and aim for victory. However, as the school year comes to a close, the graduation of the third-year students draws near. While striving to reach the top of the Love Live!, they must also contemplate their future and decide what path the group will take. The question of whether to continue without the third years or disband weighs heavily on the members' minds, and μ's must quickly reach an answer with graduation just around the corner. Love Live! School Idol Project 2nd Season follows the girls as they laugh, cry, sing, and dance on their journey to determine the group's future and conquer the Love Live! in their final chance to compete with all nine members together.
