Directed by Naoko Yamada, the anime film Kimi no Iro (The Colors Within) has unveiled a special dance video that aligns perfectly with the creator's penchant for depicting her characters goofing around and expressing their personalities through movement. Featuring entirely original footage presented in a TikTok-like format, the clip follows the three main characters, Kimi, Totsuko, and Rui, as they dance to the insert song "Sui Kin Chi Ka Moku Dotten Amen." Their choreography mirrors the moves commonly found in short-form dance videos uploaded by social media users.

This series brings together short animated works produced by Science SARU that were broadcast on MBS's late-night block "Super Animeism." In "Japan Sinks 2020 Theatrical Edition: Unsinkable Hope," the Mutou family lives an ordinary existence: Kouichirou works at a construction site, his wife Mari returns from a trip overseas, their daughter Ayumu has just finished her track practice, and their son Gou spends his time gaming at home. But their daily routine is violently interrupted by a massive earthquake that devastates the entire Japanese archipelago, turning the country into ruins almost immediately. As society collapses and Japan rapidly sinks into the ocean, the Mutou family must unite to survive the ongoing calamity. Navigating this near-apocalyptic situation, they fight not just to stay alive but also to deal with the deep loss and the hurdles that lie ahead.

One day, as YOU walk through town, YOU run into THE CHILDHOOD FRIEND buying an anemone, a flower I once loved. Remembering that, YOU quickly buy one as well. THE CHILDHOOD FRIEND arranges their anemone carefully. Years after I have passed away, YOU hear a strange noise coming from a closet. When YOU open it, YOU discover MY garden spread out before YOU. An intense flood of feelings from both ME and YOU follows. Leaving the room full of memories behind, YOU put a painting of an anemone—made by YOU—in YOUR new home.

In the futuristic city of Tom Sawyer, residents focus their daily lives on gathering "Love," much like earning likes on social media. This virtual currency grants access to public services and allows them to alter their appearance through the Decoration Customizer, or "Deco"—a holographic implant placed in their eyes since childhood. The city is carefully managed, and its people enjoy a peaceful existence, aside from occasional disturbances caused by Phantom Zero, a mysterious entity capable of erasing all Love in the vicinity. Berry, a curious and playful girl fascinated by Phantom Zero, leads a comfortable life within the city's system until her Deco malfunctions, revealing a hidden trickster named Hack. Believing Hack to be Phantom Zero, Berry chases after the elusive figure, inadvertently uncovering the city's hidden truths. It soon becomes apparent that Hack is not the only one challenging the system's limits, and beneath Tom Sawyer's bright exterior lurks a darker reality.

After diving into the sea where the Heike clan met their end at the Battle of Dan-no-ura to retrieve an ancient sword, Tomona goes blind and loses his father. With few options left, he masters the biwa and joins a well-known troupe of storytelling performers, adopting the name "Tomoichi." Not long after, Tomoichi encounters a strange individual who takes pleasure in frightening people with his grotesque appearance but finds unexpected acceptance from the blind musician. They quickly form a strong connection and start performing together once Inu-Ou, the name the stranger takes, discovers he can hear spirits recounting forgotten tales of the Heike clan. Renaming himself Tomoari, Tomoichi supports Inu-Ou's underground dance shows with his musical skills, drawing enormous crowds. However, their bold and unconventional style of performance conflicts with the cherished traditions upheld by the shogunate. As their fame grows, they face mounting resistance from traditionalists determined to preserve societal norms.

In "The Colors Within," Totsuko is a high school student with a unique gift—she can see the colors that people emit, emotions expressed as hues of happiness, enthusiasm, tranquility, and one special shade that is particularly close to her heart. She finds herself especially drawn to the stunning color given off by her classmate, Kimi. Despite lacking musical talent herself, Totsuko manages to bring together Kimi and Rui, a quiet music enthusiast they meet at a vintage bookstore in another part of town. As they practice together in an abandoned church on a remote island, their collaborative music fosters deepening connections and budding affections. Can each of them discover their true inner "colors"?

In the coastal town of Hinashi, Kai Ashimoto's grandfather follows a local belief that mermaids live around Merfolk Island, posing a threat to people. Music is thought to attract these beings and caused the death of the elder's wife, so it is mostly forbidden in the Ashimoto home. Despite this rule, Kai secretly enjoys composing electronic beats on his computer and sharing them online. Although Kai appears quiet and melancholic, his upbeat friends Kunio and Yuuho Ebina discover one of his tracks and suggest he join their rock band. Initially uninterested, Kai eventually agrees to practice with them on Merfolk Island, where he encounters something strange. One night, while creating music in his room, a mermaid suddenly appears. Dancing to his melodies, she introduces herself as Lu, a friendly creature in search of companionship. Lu shows remarkable abilities like controlling water and sprouting legs when music plays. As their bond grows, Kai and Lu begin to show their true selves, slowly dismantling the social barriers that have silenced the lively atmosphere of Hinashi Town.

On a sweltering summer day in Kyoto, a college student returns to his dormitory, intending to escape the heat with the air conditioner. His plans go awry when Ozu accidentally spills soda on the remote, breaking it and leaving the air conditioner useless. He and his roommates are then forced to endure the oppressive August heat. As their irritation grows, the group discovers a genuine time machine hidden in their storage closet. Ignoring the potential dangers, they choose to travel back in time to prevent Ozu from damaging the remote. Their effort, however, plunges them into an unexpected and chaotic chain of events.

Set in the 13th century within the vast Yeke Mongol Ulus, once the largest empire in history, "Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia" centers on Fatima, a Persian woman renowned for her advanced medical and scientific knowledge. Driven by a desire to utilize her skills, Fatima arrives at the Mongol palace. Under the guardianship of Töregene, the sixth wife of Ögedei and the second Great Khan, who holds complex views on the empire's destiny, Fatima navigates the palace's political landscape. The Heike, also referred to as the Taira clan, hold considerable influence over Japan. A young girl who possesses a unique eye capable of foreseeing the future unintentionally offends the clan, leading to her father's death as punishment. Later, she meets Taira no Shigemori, the eldest son of the Heike leader, and adopts the name "Biwa." Biwa warns Shigemori about the Heike's impending downfall. After learning of the injustice she endured because of the clan, Shigemori decides to protect her instead of eliminating her. As military conflicts escalate, the Heike become entangled in a strategic power struggle, with a bloody war looming on the horizon. Shigemori, who can see the spirits of the dead, finds himself caught between fear and hope as he attempts to prevent his clan's collapse. Biwa, however, is reluctant to reveal more about the future and has difficulty adapting to her new life, experiencing both joy and sorrow during this critical period in Japanese history.

In a future where children are scarce and considered Japan's most precious resources, Christmas has faded into a forgotten legend. At Daikoku Welfare Academy—a boarding school where students are educated, guarded, and surveilled—the figure of Santa Claus exists only as a fictional character in the minds of the young. For the adults, however, Santa Claus is a genuine threat that must be eliminated by the Saint Nick Pursuit Unit should he ever appear. Shiori Fuyumura, a student at Daikoku Welfare Academy, is desperate to locate her best friend Ichie Ono, who was declared dead after vanishing six months ago. One morning, Fuyumura summons her fellow class representative Kazushige Sanda, then immediately attacks the unsuspecting boy. She believes Sanda is the descendant of the legendary Santa Claus—the sole person capable of granting her wish to find Ono—and is resolved to awaken his hidden true nature through any method necessary.

Upon hearing this, the student sees another chance for a "coincidental" meeting, determined to acquire the book first, hoping it will finally connect their fates.

A powerful earthquake rocks the Japanese islands, causing immense devastation and triggering a chain of events that leads the nation toward being swallowed by the sea. As social order collapses and the constant threat of submersion looms, the Mutou family unites to face this apocalyptic crisis. They must navigate this perilous new world, fighting for their very survival while also dealing with the emotional weight of immense grief.

Hinako Mukaimizu is a spirited college student from a coastal town who loves surfing and the ocean, but has no clear direction for her future. Her life changes when a fireworks accident sets her apartment building on fire, and she is rescued by Minato Hinageshi, a dedicated firefighter. In Devilman: Crybaby, devils must possess a human vessel to appear in the physical world, yet an individual with a sufficiently strong will can dominate the demon and wield its power to become a Devilman. Akira Fudou, a gentle soul defined by deep empathy, eagerly agrees to help his childhood friend Ryou Asuka hunt devils. Their quest unexpectedly leads them to Sabbath, a hedonistic festival of excess. When violence breaks out, demons seize control of the attendees, transforming them into monsters and sparking chaos. In a desperate bid to save Ryou, Akira merges with the demon Amon, transforming into a Devilman and acquiring the strength to defeat the remaining beasts. This newfound power awakens a dangerous, primal aspect of Akira's personality. Nevertheless, despite his demonic form, he retains his compassionate nature and joins forces with Ryou to safeguard humanity and his loved ones from the demonic threat.
