Synopsis
After her recent breakup, popular high school student Momo Ayase shows kindness to socially awkward classmate Ken Takakura by defending him from his bullies. Takakura misinterprets her actions, assuming she is a new friend who shares his obsession with aliens and UFOs. In reality, Momo holds eccentric occult beliefs and firmly believes aliens are nonexistent. This discrepancy sparks a rivalry as both are determined to prove the other wrong. Despite their conflicting beliefs, Momo and Takakura forge an unexpected, intimate friendship through supernatural battles and bizarre encounters with urban legends and paranormal entities. As they develop unique superhuman abilities, they learn to cover each other's weaknesses, leading them to question whether their partnership is about more than just survival.
