This 30‑minute special adapts the "Nightmare! Incense of Spring Sleep" story from the manga's 34th volume, and it screened on odd‑numbered days at the "It's a Rumic World" exhibition in Tokyo from July 30th through August 11th.

Unaware that Nanami and Katsuhiko are also stranded in El-Hazard, Makoto embarks on a quest to discover a way back to Earth.
