Parasitic aliens suddenly descend upon Earth, infiltrating humanity by burrowing into the brains of vulnerable targets. These insatiable creatures seize complete control of their hosts and can morph into various forms to hunt unsuspecting prey. Sixteen-year-old high school student Shinichi Izumi is attacked by one of these parasites, but it fails to take over his brain, ending up in his right hand instead. Unable to move to its intended location, the parasite, named Migi, must rely on Shinichi to survive. This forces the duo into an uneasy coexistence as they defend themselves against hostile parasites determined to eliminate this new threat to their kind.

The quest to locate Emperor Gaz's remains goes on. Chaika remains determined to discover her true identity and the meaning behind her existence. At the same time, the Red Chaika persists in hunting down the remaining pieces of Emperor Gaz's body. The Gillette corporation continues its operation to capture every Chaika. During their journey, they uncover a hidden truth that the Emperor kept secret, prompting Chaika, Fredrica, Toru, and Akari to investigate further.

Gugure! Kokkuri-san is an offbeat comedy revolving around Kohina Ichimatsu, a girl who calls herself a doll. Her mundane existence takes a bizarre turn when she summons a fox spirit named Kokkuri-san. However, unlike the legendary all-knowing spirit who grants answers, he has lost his power due to the lack of believers in modern times. After meeting the strange girl who summoned him, Kokkuri-san is horrified to learn that Kohina not only lives by herself but survives entirely on instant cup ramen. Worried about her wellbeing, he decides to take charge and make sure she eats proper meals and leads a decent life. And so begins Kokkuri-san's less-than-hopeful efforts and their peculiar cohabitation.

Twintails represent the ultimate beauty of humanity—or at least that's the firm belief of Souji Mitsuka, a first-year high school student. At school, Souji spends his days daydreaming about and rating girls' twintails, even going so far as to establish a club devoted to the hairstyle. His obsession does not go unnoticed; when extraterrestrial monsters attack Earth and seize all the world's twintails for themselves, a mysterious woman named Twoearle recruits Souji to fight back using twintails of his own. While German and Leon journey to the capital, the king's kind-hearted son Alfonso San Valiante desperately seeks a way to counter the escalating Horror menace. However, he is betrayed and exiled from his own kingdom before he can act. Determined to reclaim his throne, Alfonso goes in search of the aid and power necessary to return. On his quest, he encounters Leon, and the meeting between the prince and the young knight will alter both their destinies forever.

At Shiomi Academy, there's a legend about "The Shepherd"—a mysterious figure who supposedly appears to diligent students and grants them a single wish. Kyoutarou Kakei, a second-year student who serves as the unofficial leader of the Library Club, is deeply absorbed in a book within the school's famous Great Library when he receives an unexpected email from the Shepherd. The message warns him of an impending event that will alter his destiny. Troubled by this, Kyoutarou hurries to a nearby train station, where he spots fellow student Tsugumi Shirasaki in danger. He manages to save her just as a train derails and nearly strikes her. In gratitude for his bravery, Tsugumi decides to join the Library Club and invites Kyoutarou to take part in her secretive "Shiomi Happy Project." Alongside other new club members, they work together to improve the academy and search for the true identity of the elusive Shepherd.

In the eleventh year of the Meiji Era, the samurai shogunate has fallen and swords have been banned, leaving Japan scarred. Many former samurai resent these changes and conspire against the new government, igniting a wave of violence. To suppress this movement, the government builds a massive prison in the middle of Lake Biwa. Unofficially tasked with aiding the police in capturing criminals, Tenka Kumou also works as a ferryman to the Lake Biwa prison, assisted by his two younger siblings: the ambitious Soramaru and the enthusiastic Chuutarou. Along with Shirasu Kinjou, a former Fuma ninja, the Kumou brothers lead a simple, joyful life focused on study and training. Yet beneath this quiet routine, the shadow of the "Orochi" curse begins to spread over the city of Oumi. Legend says that every three hundred years, Orochi is reborn in a human vessel—a sign of impending disaster. As various groups clash in search of Orochi's vessel, some aim to seal the curse, while others have darker intentions.

Umio is a timid teenager who has recently begun working part-time at a manga shop located right in the heart of the city. However, his daily life is far from the dazzling neon lights that brighten the urban landscape. Umio's closest companions are his coworkers, who are each distinctive personalities, to put it mildly. While they are kind individuals, they all have their own peculiar traits. This group forms a close-knit circle of friends, giving each other nicknames and spending their weekends indoors, shielded from the vibrant activity taking place outside.

A full eight years have passed since Kaito Kuroba's father died under mysterious circumstances. Kaito himself is a fairly normal, if somewhat cheeky, teenager—until he uncovers a stunning truth: his father was the legendary Phantom Thief Kaito Kid, known as "The Magician Under the Moonlight." The elder thief was murdered by a secret criminal syndicate hunting for the Pandora Gem, a mythical stone said to shed a tear when the Valley Comet passes by once every ten millennia. Drinking that tear is rumored to grant eternal life. Determined to avenge his father's death, Kaito takes on the Phantom Thief's mantle. Night after night, he steals valuable jewels in search of the Pandora Gem, hoping to find it before his enemies can claim its power for themselves.

While heading home from school, Tatsumi discovers a collapsed figure by a lake. Upon closer inspection, he realizes the person requiring aid is actually a stunning merman named Wakasa. Since Wakasa’s natural habitat has become too polluted to inhabit, Tatsumi kindly provides his bathtub as a temporary shelter. Tatsumi’s ordinary routine is soon disrupted by his boisterous new roommate, and things become even more chaotic when Wakasa’s aquatic companions—Takasu, Mikuni, and Maki—frequently appear without invitation. These merfolk present quite a challenge for the high schooler. Although Tatsumi occasionally delights in their childlike behavior, he must maintain his composure to balance his daily responsibilities with his new friendships.

A group of friends—Nonoka Komiya, Koharu Shiihara, Shione Togawa, and the twins Yuzuki and Souta Mizusaka—once tried to summon a flying saucer to make their wishes come true. Believing they had failed, they gave up and went home. But not long after, Nonoka suddenly moved away from Kiriya City, severing the bond they shared. Unknown to the group, their attempt had actually succeeded, and the saucer has remained floating in the sky ever since, waiting to fulfill its purpose. Seven years later, Nonoka returns to Kiriya, having almost completely forgotten everything about her life there. She meets Noel, a little girl dressed in strange clothes, and through her, Nonoka starts to recall the past and the friends she left behind. From that point, she works to mend her broken relationships with the others while unraveling the secrets that link Noel, the saucer, and the wishes they once held dear.

Kaori Sasaki, a member of Uchihama Academy's Astronomy Club, confesses her feelings to Sou Akiyama. Later that evening, she dies in a tragic road accident. Her friends and fellow club members mourn her at a local hospital. Yet the next day, Kaori shows up at school as if nothing happened, and no one notices anything unusual. The day passes without incident, and the group of friends begins planning for the upcoming cultural festival. Suddenly, an unnatural earthquake shakes the room. Everyone splits up to investigate—except for Nagisa Hanamiya, who remains behind. As the others leave, Nagisa notices that the strange relic-like cube she had been playing with begins emitting a mysterious blue light. Meanwhile, Sou stumbles upon an unconscious, naked girl lying in a pool of water. Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete follows the Astronomy Club's increasingly strange adventures—from dealing with ghosts to calming disputes between student clubs. All the while, they unravel the truth behind the sudden appearance of a new transfer student.

The aftermath of Iona Urazoe's fan event continues to weigh on Ruuko Kominato. Now aware of the truth behind being a Selector, Ruuko and her friends Yuzuki Kurebayashi and Hitoe Uemura hesitate to engage in battles that could destroy the lives they hold dear. Chiyori, another Selector, remains unaware of the consequences of losing despite repeated warnings. As Ruuko tries to steer Chiyori away from a cruel fate, she uncovers more about a WIXOSS novel that may hold the secrets of LRIGs and the very nature of Selector battles. Meanwhile, Akira Aoi's modeling career has recovered thanks to Iona, now possessed by Ulith. With her life back on track, Akira vows to support Ulith however she can. Unbeknownst to Akira, Ulith is plotting to use a familiar LRIG to torment Ruuko and ensure her wish is never granted.

Seven years after the first series ended, Gundam Build Fighters Try begins. At Seiho Academy, the Gunpla Battle Club has just one member left: Hoshino Fumina, a third-year junior high student. As club president, she needs two more members to enter the upcoming All-Japan Gunpla Battle Championships. One day, she meets transfer student Kamiki Sekai, who has been traveling around for Kenpo training with his master. Joined by young Gunpla builder Kousaka Yuuma, their challenge in Gunpla Battle starts.

Girl Friend Beta is a television anime adaptation of the mobile game Girlfriend (Kari), which allows players to interact with virtual girlfriends.
