Crest of the Stars
星界の紋章
Seikai no Monshou
Crest of the Stars centers on Ghintec Linn (also known as Jinto Lynn), a young count whose homeworld is conquered by the spacefaring Abh race. As a child, Ghintec’s father, Rock Lynn, surrendered their planet Martine to the Abh under threat of invasion in exchange for a position within their society. Young Ghintec is sent away to study the customs of Abh nobility, and the story begins as he encounters the young Abh princess Lamhirh (also called Lafiel) just before they depart for military school where Ghintec will continue his training. During their journey, Lamhirh and Ghintec—along with the Abh ship Gothlauth (also known as Gosroth)—find themselves caught at the outbreak of a war between the Abh Empire and the Four Nations Alliance of humankind, an anti-Abh coalition comprising the democratic states of the United Mankind, the Federation of Hania, the Republic of Greater Alcont, and the People's Sovereign Union of Planets.
