Yakuza no Oshigoto

With a scarred face and an intimidating demeanor, Ken Kanashiro serves as the fearsome underboss of the Washio Clan, fitting every Yakuza cliché. However, his interests take a surprising turn when he watches a documentary on the popular K-pop boy group My Night With (MNW). Moved by the members' hard work and unwavering dedication both onstage and off, Ken finds himself falling for them. Ken is not alone in being won over by MNW. His own men and even rival gang members dive into all the typical activities of K-pop fandom—picking a bias, trading rare photocards featuring the members' adorable selfies, and more. The violence of the underworld gives way to an obsessive hunt for MNW's latest content. It appears that no matter how hardened a person may be, inspirational boys who spread love through music will inevitably captivate them.
