Since the horrible tragedy four years ago, Sunny has not left his house. Now, to try and break him out of his lethargy, his family has decided to move away from Faraway Town. Three days before the relocation, Sunny's childhood friend Kel comes by to spend time together one last time—but the world outside the young recluse's door has transformed entirely, and Sunny's reunion with his old friends goes from bad to worse. Whether through coincidence or destiny, the series of events that start to unfold brings back a past they all believed was permanently buried.

Background

Omori adapts the 2020 RPG game of the same name, which in turn is based on OMOCAT's web comic "Omoriboy." It has been published digitally as an English simulpub by Kodansha through K Manga. The series has been published by Kodansha USA under the Vertical Comics imprint since March 17, 2026.
