The hero Alexander and his companions launch a bold assault on the Demon King's castle, aiming to slay him and end the war against the darkness in a single decisive stroke. However, the mission goes wrong when his party is effortlessly annihilated by the Demon King's overwhelming might. Yet death is not the final chapter for Alexander, as he is reborn two years later as that same Demon King's son. Retaining the memories of his previous life, he resolves to use this miraculous second chance to keep fighting—this time toppling the demonic kingdom from within as the Demon Prince Zilbagias. His resolve is soon put to the test, as passing for a young demon prince without exposing his true identity proves far more difficult than he first expected.

Dainana Maouji Jilbagias no Maou Keikokuki began as a web novel. The first official volume was published on July 25, 2022 by Overlap under the Overlap Bunko label. The series has been published digitally in English as Zilbagias the Demon Prince: How the Seventh Prince Brought Down the Kingdom by J-Novel Club since April 26, 2024.
