Nigoru Hitomi de Nani wo Negau: Highserk Senki

After dying from a heart attack, Raizou Takakura is reborn in another world as the third son of a destitute farmer. In his second life, he goes by the name Walm and has been serving as a soldier for the Highserk Empire, a small nation currently under invasion by its larger neighbors. To survive, Walm is forced to spend his days killing people indiscriminately. The Highserk Empire decides to turn its aggression toward its foes, orchestrating a massive invasion campaign against both the Principality of Myard and the Ferrius Kingdom. As a result, Walm becomes drenched in blood, witnessing the final breaths of allies and enemies alike, and learning the thin line separating life from death.

Nigoru Hitomi de Nani wo Negau: Highserk Senki began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on December 7, 2020. Kodansha has released a revised and illustrated version of the series since February 2, 2022 under its K Ranobe Books label.
