The fate of the universe hinges on a single decision by Kamui Shirou, who must choose to destroy either the Dragons of Earth or the Dragons of Heaven—two opposing armies. His choice alone will decide whether humanity should be wiped out to bring about a purified universe or safeguarded to preserve civilization. Two oracles, the sisters Hinoto and Kanoe, foresee the arrival of the Dragons and each predicts a different outcome. They each gather allies and resources to ensure their own vision of the future comes to pass. Yet neither sister realizes that one man wields power even greater than the Dragons, and that he will ultimately decide the planet's fate. Which sister's prophecy will come true, and what role does Kamui play in their conflict? The answer will shape the destiny of all humanity.

Fifth-grader Takuya Enoki has been carrying a heavy burden ever since his mother died in a car accident months ago. He must care for his baby brother Minoru while their father, a typical Japanese salaryman, is frequently away working long hours. Takuya sacrifices much of his own childhood to handle cooking, cleaning, and dealing with Minoru's crying and tantrums. Even though the neighbors criticize Minoru's constant wailing, Takuya keeps going. Seeing his friends live carefree lives makes his struggle even harder, but through these hardships, he might discover what family truly means.

Tsutomu is an ordinary high school student cramming for his entrance exams when he accidentally wanders into an ongoing police operation. In the chaos, he gets caught in the line of fire and is fatally wounded. Just as he is about to die, a young woman named Birdy appears at the scene. She merges her consciousness with his, saving him from certain death. Now the two share a single body and must adapt to coexisting as Birdy continues her work as an interplanetary law enforcement officer, pursuing criminals and protecting lives.

In the village of Biaz, the inhabitants are forced to labor for the world-dominating Zein organization. Lina Inverse and Naga The Serpent are hired to drive out the oppressors, tempted by rumors of hidden Elf treasure buried under Biaz. However, they quickly encounter more complications than expected, confronting not only the Zein forces but also dangers stemming from the treasure itself.

This collection of three separate half-hour episodes focuses on Lina Inverse and her companion, Naga The Serpent, as they take on various jobs for quick cash, meals, and safety. In "The Scary Chimera Plan," they face a crazed sorcerer who seeks to create a monstrous being capable of casting spells by using Lina. Next, "Jeffry's Knighthood" has them hired by a worried mother to help her sword-challenged son earn a knighthood by aiding him in driving off marauding soldiers from the region. Finally, in "Mirror, Mirror," Lina and Naga chase a fugitive mage for a bounty after he discovers an ancient relic that can duplicate anything, even foes, resulting in chaos.

Ryoutsu, a policeman who is constantly underpaid, is always devising schemes to earn fast cash. However, his plans, which are absurd from the very start, inevitably backfire and get him into serious trouble with the Buchou.

In "Shamanic Princess," Tiara, a powerful sorceress accompanied by her familiar Japolo, is dispatched from the Guardian World—a realm inhabited by strong beings tasked with preserving the balance of magical energy—to Earth. Her objective is to recover the Throne of Yord, a vital magical artifact that serves as the Guardian World's power source, and must be secured to prevent it from being misused. While chasing the Throne, Tiara meets Lena, a former acquaintance and fellow sorceress who is also hunting the same relic. The situation grows more complex with the arrival of Kagetsu, a man Tiara once had deep feelings for. Kagetsu, who can negate magic as a negater, shares a significant connection to the Throne of Yord. Tiara now faces a difficult journey, struggling to balance her mission's requirements with her personal ties and emotions.

During a business trip, cereal salesmen Osamu and Jay come across a strange roadblock. Investigating, they witness a secret government operation where two mysterious demon-like beings attack military personnel who had responded to a crash involving a vehicle carrying classified research. In the debris, Osamu finds a stunning hermaphrodite with one gold eye and one crimson eye, sealed inside a frozen chamber. Before fleeing, Osamu presses a kiss to the glass between them. Later, Osamu and Jay confront Jay's father, a high-ranking scientist at a government lab. He reveals that what they saw is top secret and that without his intervention, they would face prison. Jay wants to move on, but Osamu is determined to learn more. By stealing a security badge, Osamu locates the facility where the person he kissed is held and learns their name is Kimera. Driven by an inexplicable urge, Osamu dreams of escaping with Kimera, even though the reasons for Kimera's captivity and the nature of such a relationship remain unclear.

However, only half of the treasure is in his possession—the other half lies waiting in Morocco. Despite lacking any prior experience, he follows his enthusiasm and courageously signs up for the school's gymnastics club to chase that ambition. Throughout his journey, he encounters lively and encouraging senior students, develops a romantic interest in a classmate, and discovers the joy that comes from giving yourself fully to a sport.

Kumiko Ijima, a student in Nube's class, identifies a man in the local park as the murderer on the police's wanted list after recalling his face from the wanted photos she had drawn. She alerts her classmate Kyoko, but the man simultaneously spots the drawing in Kumiko's portfolio with the initials "K.I." on it and catches a brief glimpse of the red ribbon tied in her hair. As the police give chase, the criminal crashes his car into a seal, and a demon takes possession of his soul. Now under the demon's control, he goes on a killing spree, hunting for any girl with a red ribbon whose initials are "K.I."

This is a re-telling of the first series. One episode is seen from Momiji's perspective, and the other is seen from Kusanagi's perspective.

This OVA is part of the "Hontoni Atta Kowai Hanashi" series, which itself originates from the "Hontoni Atta Gakou Kaidan" series published by Asahi Sonorama.
