In "Kimagure Orange Road," Kyousuke Kasuga and his friends plan a skiing trip over winter break at his grandparents' home. Their excitement is dampened by a local legend that says couples who ski down the mountain together will be cursed, adding tension to their romantic relationships. During a trip to Hawaii with Madoka Ayukawa, Kyousuke's friend Hikaru Hiyama gets kidnapped. Kyousuke sets out to rescue her while hiding his psychic powers from Madoka. While studying for exams, Kyousuke dreams of a simpler life and wishes he could swap places with his pet cat or fish. His grandfather then gives him a magical rope that grants this wish, leading Kyousuke to face unexpected struggles in his new form. Kyousuke's cousin Akane visits and uses her illusion powers to cause trouble. Things get worse when Akane develops romantic feelings for Madoka, turning her into Kyousuke's love rival. While helping organize a community music festival, Kyousuke accidentally swaps bodies with a famous idol after bumping into them. He must find a way to return to his original body and keep his secret until the festival's performance. Kyousuke has a disturbing dream where Akane tries to seduce him, making him uncomfortable with such inappropriate thoughts. He is even more shocked when Akane suggests they pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend in front of her friends. Madoka's father returns to Japan for a performance, giving her a rare chance to see him. However, Madoka becomes upset when she sees him with another woman, leading to emotional turmoil.

Miracle Giants Doumu-kun

Dome Shinjo is a ten-year-old boy whose father was a legendary player for the Yomiuri Giants before his death. From his father, Dome inherited both a passion for baseball and great talent for the sport, even though his mother and older sister try to prevent him from playing. Prior to his passing, his father managed to teach him a magical pitch. When his mother gives him the glove his father once used, Dome unleashes that pitch during a Giants training session and is immediately signed to the team. Backed by the veteran players of the club, this young boy makes the Giants unbeatable at home, as none of the leading batters in the Japanese professional league can overcome his magical pitch. The same cannot be said for away games, however, since Dome is only allowed to play at the Tokyo Dome, the stadium where his father was consecrated and after which he named his son. When the veteran captain of the Dragons finally manages to hit his pitch, the boy seems conclusively beaten, but he then invents another magical pitch. New rivals and friends alike appear on the scene, including Melody Norman, an American girl who disguises herself as a boy because women are barred from playing baseball. Eventually, the mysterious Don Carlos arrives—a Spanish ex-bullfighter who plays for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and appears to have unfinished business with Dome's father. Will Dome succeed in bringing the league championship to the Giants?
