Heisuke is tasked with looking after his young cousin Aki for a single day. Aki, typically reserved and careful not to impose on others, is quite withdrawn. As they spend time together, Aki begins to form a strong connection with Heisuke, particularly because Heisuke takes pleasure in baking sweets. Slowly, Aki starts to become more open, and Heisuke helps Aki realize that it is acceptable to occasionally give in to personal wishes.
