Thirteen-year-old Rachel "Ray" Gardner wakes up in the sixth basement floor of a decaying building after being brought there following the trauma of witnessing a death. With her memories stripped away, Ray wanders in confusion until she is marked as a "sacrifice." She encounters a mysterious figure in a hood, completely wrapped in bandages and carrying a scythe. This person, identified as Isaac "Zack" Foster, initially intends to end Ray's life. However, finding her unremarkable, Zack changes his plan and chooses to form an alliance with Ray to escape the crumbling structure. Based on the Japanese horror adventure game Satsuriku no Tenshi, the story follows Ray and Zack as they face numerous dangers and guards while uncovering the dark mysteries of their forgotten pasts.
