In the life of high school student Tetsu Misato, a shy but hardworking boy, a new job at his father’s housekeeping business brings him to a grand mansion he often admired as a child. Hidden within this vast estate lies a secluded garden and a small building where the family’s reclusive daughter, Shizu Karasawa, isolates herself from the world due to a strange illness. During one of his cleaning tasks near the building, Tetsu unexpectedly meets Shizu. On later visits, they form a connection. Shizu tells Tetsu that she has been confined inside the building for years, cut off from human contact because of her unusual sickness. As Tetsu continues to visit, his feelings for Shizu grow stronger. However, when he realizes the depth of his emotions, he discovers the true cause of her condition. "Ohayou, Ibarahime" follows Tetsu’s journey to uncover the real Shizu hidden beneath her supernatural affliction, as he strives to help her and heal his own heart in the process.
