After losing her mother, Sachie Wakamura is placed under the care of her estranged grandfather, who unexpectedly leads a yakuza organization. Terrified by the prospect of joining this unfamiliar family, Sachie tries to hold onto her normal life. Her attempts to keep her distance are complicated by Rakuto, a popular student and member of her grandfather's gang, who is assigned to watch over her. At school, no one suspects Rakuto's ties to the criminal underworld, and Sachie begins to develop romantic feelings for him.
