After losing her brother Souichirou, Teru Kurebayashi finds comfort in the messages she exchanges with Daisy through a cell phone he left behind. Though she has never met Daisy in person, she relies on the uplifting words from this unknown figure. At school, Teru is constantly tormented by the gruff janitor Tasuku Kurosaki, who forces her to work for him after she accidentally breaks a window. While Kurosaki appears to be a lazy troublemaker who enjoys causing her distress, his true nature may be more complex than it first seems.
