Koi wa Ameagari no You ni ranked fourth in the 2016 Kono Manga ga Sugoi! for the Male Readers division. In the same year, it was also nominated for the ninth Manga Taisho Award and placed seventh in the final ranking. The series was published in English as After the Rain by Vertical Inc. as 2-in-1 omnibus volumes from September 25, 2018, to September 17, 2019. It was also released in Spanish by Ediciones Tomodomo, and in Italian by Star Comics.
