After freeing Jin, a serpent god who had been sealed away by a shaman, young Hwa-Rim has her body taken over by him. The shaman sacrifices her own life to save Hwa-Rim. Years later, now a high school student, Hwa-Rim lives in hiding, constantly fleeing from Jin, who still relentlessly searches for her. One day, Bong-Gil, a classmate of hers, becomes possessed by Jin, and Jin tries to use Bong-Gil to track down Hwa-Rim. Note: This series serves as a prequel to the 2024 film Exhuma (파묘).
