This new obsession motivates her to leave her secluded life in Romania and travel to Japan to dive into otaku culture. Japan becomes a haven for Hina, allowing her to indulge in collecting various merchandise. Although she sometimes regrets missing out on Vampire Cross-themed cafes, she prioritizes stocking up her new apartment. The absence of a human companion to share the themed cuisine with is a minor issue compared to the challenge of connecting with others. This changes when she accidentally collides with her neighbor, Kyuta—a boy who strongly resembles Mao. Hina considers this a stroke of luck, but convincing Kyuta to become her friend proves difficult.
