Despite that setback, after the tournament ends, he challenges the winner, Neo Saiba, and surprisingly manages a draw—a result thought to be impossible. Later, Lord HolyAngemon, a Digimon, summons Taichi to the Digital World, where he encounters the mysterious Digimon from his V-Pet, Zeromaru, who then evolves into a Veedramon.
