A spaceship shaped like a horse-drawn carriage journeys across the galaxy. Inside the carriage ride Ridley, the scientist who built this unusual spacecraft, and her partner Watari, a shy girl. The two have left Earth, now uninhabitable due to environmental pollution, and set off in the carriage. Their mission is to discover a safe planet where they can settle. But every planet they visit is extremely peculiar. There is a planet with a god who can revive anything, a planet where the luckiest people are regarded as the greatest, and a planet full of countless libraries. These strange worlds often leave the two girls bewildered.
