In Gakuen Babysitters, Ryuuichi Kashima has spent much of his life looking after his younger brother, Kotarou, due to their parents' frequent travels. After both parents tragically die in a plane crash, Youko Morinomiya—an elderly woman who lost her own son and daughter-in-law in the same accident—becomes their guardian. Ryuuichi is allowed to enroll at the school where Youko serves as chairwoman, but only on the condition that he joins the "babysitting club" to care for the children of the staff. Initially finding this task difficult, Ryuuichi gains encouragement from fellow student Hayato Kamitani and others. Together, they embark on new and thrilling adventures through their involvement with the club.
