Souichi Negishi is an ordinarily shy and quiet young man who enjoys gardening, taking relaxed walks, and listening to popular songs on the radio. Unknown to many, he also performs as Krauzer II, the frontman of Detroit Metal City (DMC), Japan’s leading underground metal band. Though he prefers gentle, emotional Swedish pop music, Souichi feels pressured to keep working with DMC, in spite of its violent and explicit lyrics. Yet, every time he takes the stage with the group, his personality transforms drastically.
