Kimi no Yoru ni Fureru

In "Touch within the Abyss," Chinatsu and his older brother Fuyuki are raised from childhood by their father to become professional assassins. Tragedy occurs when Chinatsu fails his first mission, leading to Fuyuki's death. A blind boy then finds Chinatsu and offers him solace during his grief. Five years pass, but the pain lingers, leaving Chinatsu paralyzed whenever he must carry out his assignments. One day while wandering the city, he retrieves a stolen item for Kasumi, the same blind boy from his past. In gratitude, Kasumi, who lives in a traditional Japanese inn, invites Chinatsu to his home. Kasumi feels like a burden because of his blindness. Despite their unfamiliarity, Kasumi senses a connection with Chinatsu and proposes friendship, which the assassin accepts. Kasumi's compassionate nature gradually opens Chinatsu's eyes to a different path, one away from his shadowy existence. He begins to see Kasumi as a light worth protecting amidst the darkness of his world.
