In "My Little Monster," Shizuku Mizutani is a diligent student often called a "study bug," focusing mainly on her studies with the goal of following in her mother's professional footsteps. Her daily life changes when she agrees to bring class notes to Haru Yoshida, a delinquent who has been absent from school after a suspension for getting into a fight. Though he first seems rough, Haru unexpectedly connects with Shizuku, even openly telling her he likes her. As their relationship grows, Shizuku discovers a gentler side to Haru, showing a kind and sincere person underneath his tough exterior.
