Yuugen, a sickly high school student who lacks enthusiasm for life, lives a quiet and repetitive routine, steering clear of his classmates. But Hideto, the popular and energetic class president, keeps trying to reach out to him and eventually wins Yuugen's heart. Then Hideto dies suddenly. As Yuugen struggles to cope with the loss, Hideto's ghost appears before him, still tethered to the mortal world because of an unfinished matter. Hideto asks for Yuugen's help in finding resolution so he can finally pass on. This emotional story follows a boy's path to coming to terms with grief and facing the difficulties of adulthood.
