Hakuba, Saguru
Summary
Born in Japan and educated in London, Saguru Hakuba is a brilliant detective-in-training with an obsessive attention to detail and an extreme sensitivity to time, aided by a watch capable of measuring milliseconds. He is known for asking every criminal he captures the fundamental question of why they committed their crime. Recently returning to Japan, he encountered his greatest challenge in the form of Kaito KID. While he suspects that Kaito Kuroba is the phantom thief, he currently lacks concrete evidence to prove it. During the events of Movie 10, Hakuba assisted Conan and Heiji in their investigation after claiming that a loved one had been kidnapped by a theme park. However, he vanished after the group was separated by attackers.
