Gensui, Tenpou
Summary
Field Marshal Tenpou Gensou serves as the previous incarnation of Cho Hakkai and holds the position of Field Marshal for Heaven's Western Army. An avid reader, he is frequently found buried in books and has a penchant for collecting seemingly useless items from the lower world, which he displays in his office as his personal collection. His personality is easy-going and vague, adhering strictly to his own pace. He appears careless about his appearance, sporting a shabby white coat and dandruff-ridden hair that contrasts with his handsome face, a combination that has earned him a reputation as a weirdo. Despite this, his calm and cool-headed insight on the battlefield is highly regarded, with his superior, the Dragon King, recognizing him as a superior military strategist. Previously inclined to bear all burdens alone, Tenpou changed his solitary ways after gaining his comrade Kenren. He elevated Kenren to the top of his unit and assumed a supportive, wife-like role in their dynamic. However, he possesses a dangerous side, capable of hoarding dangerous items and keeping his teeth in his opponent until he is satisfied, regardless of who they are. He has semi-long black hair grown out naturally and wears thick glasses. His handsome visage blends gentleness and harshness, bearing a resemblance to Hakkai. He favors Arc Royal cigarettes and uses a charming earthenware frog ashtray acquired in the lower world, which Minekura had her assistant Suzuki Jirou-chan design with hopes of turning it into merchandise. Tenpou is consistently depicted wielding a Katana during various sealing missions.
