Summary

Homura Akemi is a human magical girl affiliated with Mitakihara Middle School. Standing between 155 and 159 cm tall with a B blood type, she appears as a beautiful, mysterious, and academically and athletically gifted transfer student who enters Madoka’s school the day after the latter experiences a nightmare depicting an apocalyptic future. Despite her cold demeanor, her excellence makes her instantly popular among her peers. She harbors a deep dislike for incubators and is famously quoted as believing that tragedy and sadness will never truly disappear, rendering the world unworthy of saving. In the narrative, Homura seems to know Madoka intimately and is driven by a desire to prevent her from becoming a magical girl. This conflict leads her to attack Kyubey in the first episode, an action that is interrupted and stopped by Mami. Her arsenal is extensive, featuring a shield that functions as both a storage device and a time-jump mechanism, alongside a vast array of firearms including a Beretta 92FS, Glock 19, IMI Desert Eagle, Skorpion VZ 61, FN Minimi, MG-42, MP40, Howa Type 89, Remington 870, M226 60mm mortar, RPG-7, AT-4, and Type 88 Surface to Ship Missiles.
