Nitro+ is publishing a novel version of Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica, based directly on the original anime series written by Gen Urobuchi. The novelization is written by Hajime Ninomae (一 肇), known for their work with Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko and Shogakukan Gagaga Bunko. Yuupon (ゆーぽん) from Nitro+Chiral’s shounen-ai division provides the illustrations. The novel consists of two main volumes of 304 and 328 pages, plus a special third volume with 32 full-color pages. It releases officially on August 14, 2011, with a preliminary edition at Comiket 80 from August 12 to August 14, 2011.
