Taishou, Kenren
Summary
Kenren Taishou serves as the previous incarnation of Sha Gojyo and holds the rank of General in Heaven's Western Army. Known as a lawless man with a passion for saké, flowers, and women, he was formerly a general in the Eastern army before being demoted after sleeping with his commander's wife. He subsequently became a subordinate of Field Marshal Tenpou. Despite his infamy, Kenren is a bold wanderer who embodies chivalry, often displaying a meddling yet practical demeanor. He acts as a protective older brother figure, particularly toward children and his subordinates. Although rumored to be Tenpou's husband, he actually assumes the role of a housewife, managing daily life for Tenpou, who would be incapable of handling such tasks alone. Kenren has long questioned the absolute principles of Heaven, finding appeal in the art and beauty of living things in the lower world. Although a military officer in Heaven's army, his path intersects with Goku. He has short black hair, black eyes, a sarcastic tongue, and a large, childlike smile that bears a resemblance to Sha Gojyo. A lover of lower world luxury items like cigarettes, he smokes various brands due to the difficulty of acquiring them. In missions, he is known to utilize guns.
