Summary
Eureka is a pale girl with turquoise hair and lavender eyes who pilots the Nirvash typeZERO. She views her mech not as a machine but as a living being with consciousness and feelings. Despite this deep bond, she struggles to communicate with humans or understand their emotions, often appearing distant and awkward. She has a habit of appearing suddenly beside people, which frequently startles them. In the early parts of the anime, she suffers from frequent headaches that seem linked to the presence of Renton Thurston. She serves as the adoptive mother to Maurice, Maeter, and Linck, yet feels uncertain about her maternal role, often asking Renton for advice on how to discipline them and whether she is doing a good job. Her name is pronounced eau-wreck-uh rather than like the English word. In episode previews, she is referred to as "the girl."
