An untold chapter opens the story: the catastrophic event surrounding the disappearance of Renton’s father. Adroc Thurston, alongside the enigmatic pilot Eureka, is the sole figure capable of rectifying his past error, an incident that reshaped the world and earned him the status of a hero. A decade later, with Eureka in a critical state, Renton departs from the Gekko crew. Under the guardianship of his father’s former allies, Renton faces a pivotal decision: remain in the nurturing home he has always longed for, or chase after the love he truly yearns for.

In "Anemone: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution," the story follows Anemone, a young girl whose father died in a conflict in Tokyo seven years before the film's events. Left with only her toy Gulliver and the AI companion Dominikids for comfort, Anemone becomes essential to a plan devised by the experimental team "Acid" to fight the dangerous entity called "Eureka Seven," which has killed 2.6 billion people and threatens all of humanity. As the world faces destruction, all hope depends on Anemone as she enters the core of Eureka Seven.
