Summary
Shion is a fourteen-year-old born on July 10 who resides in Okinomiya as the identical twin sister of Mion. Although the two possess distinct personalities, they frequently swap places, making it difficult for others to tell them apart. Although the Sonozaki family originally sent Shion to a private boarding school, she escaped and returned to live near her hometown with Kasai, maintaining a close bond with her sister despite the distance. Shion often attends a different school than the main cast, which limits her screen time in most arcs. She works as a waitress at Angel-Mort and serves as the manager's assistant for the Hinamizawa Fighters little league team. She is frequently seen carrying a taser and wearing a yellow ribbon in her hair. Additionally, she demonstrates proficiency with firearms alongside Kasai during the Matsuribayashi-hen arc.
