Summary

Komamura serves as the Captain of the 7th Division. Standing at an imposing 288 cm, he is the tallest normal character in Bleach, towering 57 cm over his subordinate Jirōbō, who holds the runner-up position for physical stature. The only human characters larger than him are the Seireitei gatekeepers, who each stand approximately thirty feet tall. Komamura is also distinct for being an anthropomorphic canine, though his exact species remains ambiguous as he displays traits of both wolves and foxes. While Kenpachi Zaraki has occasionally referred to him as a "bastard wolf," his fur is red, resembling that of a fox.
