Summary
Mizuiro Kojima is a close friend of Ichigo and his circle, characterized by a boyish appearance and a gentle speaking style. His polite manner of addressing others sometimes unnerves Keigo, who finds the respect offered to him unsettling. Mizuiro harbors a distinct preference for older women, a detail that Ichigo disclosed to Rukia early in the series. As the story progresses, Mizuiro, alongside Tatsuki and Keigo, develops full spiritual awareness, allowing him to witness the departure of Ishida, Chad, and Ichigo to Hueco Mundo. While he effortlessly attracts multiple girls—jealousy from Keigo notwithstanding—Mizuiro previously endured lonely depression due to his parents' busy schedules, which kept him from seeing them often and contributed to an inverted personality. Although Keigo was his first real friend, Mizuiro later admits that Ichigo was the first person he truly opened up to.
