Summary
Kirio Hikifune served as the former captain of the 12th Division before joining the Royal Guard. While leading the 12th Division, her subordinate Hiyori Sarugaki developed a deep attachment to her, regarding Kirio with the affection she would reserve for a mother. Roughly 110 years ago, Hikifune departed the Gotei 13 to assume her new role. Kisuke Urahara took over her position as captain but did not receive her attendance at his inauguration ceremony.
