Summary
Shun Nitta serves as Japan's second-choice forward behind Kojiro Hyuga and holds a regular starting spot on the team. He is a year younger than the rest of the Golden Generation. His debut occurred in chapter 52 of the 1981 series Captain Tsubasa. During his school days, he played for Nankatsu and Otomo before turning professional with Kashiwa Reysol. He has worn jersey number 9 for Otomo and Nankatsu, number 35 for Kashiwa Reysol, and number 18 for Japan. Nitta’s main offensive strengths are his speed and the Hayabusa Shot, which he later evolved into the No Trap Running Volley Hayabusa Shot. As the story progressed, he mastered jumping and running shooting techniques with both feet and demonstrated field awareness by drawing away defenders to create through balls.
