Summary

Tsubasa Hanekawa is a 17-year-old, later 18, student with a fair complexion, dark eyes, and a height of 158 cm. Her signature look features her long black hair styled into two braids secured by a ribbon with a cat motif. She is almost exclusively seen wearing the Naoetsu Private High School uniform, even on non-school days, with the notable exception of sleepwear worn during the Tsubasa Cat Arc. Her personal motto is, "I don't know everything, I just know what I know." As Araragi’s classmate and class president, she is regarded by him as "the class president of all class presidents." Her relationship with Araragi was significant enough that both she and Hitagi cut their hair short because they believed he preferred that style. Currently, she resides with her stepfather and stepmother. Her backstory and role are detailed in the Hanekawa Story arc, which is presented in Nekomonogatari and Bakemonogatari.
