Sanzenin, Nagi

Summary

Nagi Sanzenin is the sole heir to the immense Sanzenin fortune, a wealth so staggering that discarding twenty trillion yen in a deceptive investment is viewed as a minor prank. She is a short-tempered, spoiled, and socially withdrawn princess who operates as a tsundere hikkikomori. Although she appears immature and hates losing or admitting fault, she is ultimately a well-educated girl with a sharp mind. Despite her desire to avoid school and learning, her intelligence allows her to skip three grades, even attending one of Tokyo’s most prestigious academies. She harbors a deep dislike for spicy food, dark places, finance, being kidnapped, being alone, and anyone who expresses affection for Hayate. Because her status makes leaving home dangerous, she prefers staying indoors in a modest mansion with minimal staff, living apart from her grandfather whom she dislikes. She cares for her family and friends but struggles to show concern directly, often masking it with formal language. She regards Maria as a mother or older sister figure and fiercely warns Hayate against any indecent behavior toward her. Nagi has a crush on Hayate and mistakenly believes he loves her in return. Her hobbies mirror those of a dedicated otaku, including reading, drawing, and writing manga, watching anime, and playing video games. She draws her own manga and has submitted entries to amateur competitions, though she has never won.
