Summary

Shinji Matou serves as the older brother of Sakura and has known Shirou for a considerable time. Despite his narcissistic and chauvinistic personality, he enjoys popularity as the vice-captain of the archery dojo. He hails from a prestigious lineage of sorcerers similar to Rin Tohsaka, but the Matou bloodline has weakened over time and no longer produces individuals naturally capable of magic. Shinji harbors an open crush on Rin, though she does not reciprocate his feelings, and he feels uneasy about Sakura’s daily visits to Shirou’s residence.
