Summary
As the second son of Donovan Desmond, Damian attends Eden Academy within Cecile Hall’s Class 3. His upbringing as the child of a powerful and influential figure grants him a status that naturally breeds arrogance. He is so convinced of his own appeal that he assumes Anya’s staring indicates a romantic crush on him, and he insists on being addressed as Lord Damian. His demanding behavior stems from the pressure to live up to his brother’s success as an Imperial Scholar and his father’s high expectations. Lacking parental attention, Damian is driven to earn his father’s notice by becoming an Imperial Scholar himself. Consequently, he looks down on those of lower social standing, viewing anyone who does not benefit him as an obstacle that delays his progress and his father’s approval.
