Summary

Sagara Sousuke, also known by his former guerrilla name Kashim, is a seventeen-year-old sergeant serving in the paramilitary counter-terrorist organization Mithril. He belongs to the SRT of the Western Pacific Battle Group Tuatha de Danaan, operating with the codename Urzu 7 and ID number B-3128 as a team point-man and Arm Slave specialist. Standing 174 cm tall with a distinguishing X-shaped scar on his left cheek, he possesses extensive expertise in Arm Slave operations, maintenance, explosives, small arms, survival training, and hand-to-hand combat. His background as a guerrilla fighter and mercenary in Helmajistan has given him deep knowledge of tactics often used by irregular forces, including logistics, demolitions, and covert intrusion. During his time in Helmajistan, he was close friends with Zayid and received his alias from the strategist Majido. Despite his combat prowess, Sousuke struggles significantly with social interactions and lacks common civilian concepts regarding entertainment or recreation. His military mindset frequently causes friction with Kaname Chidori, leading to stalker-like behavior such as following her and jumping off trains. He often misinterprets social cues, such as viewing a breakup as a high-level tactical maneuver. This inability to blend in with normal society is a primary source of humor in the Full Metal Passion? Fumoffu! series. He carries a gun loaded with non-lethal shells even while attending school, and his weak subjects include Kobun and Japanese history.
