Summary

Born on December 20 and standing 173 cm tall, Mikiya Kokutou is a close friend of Shiki. Two years prior to the main events, the pair made a promise to attend college together. While accompanying Shiki to an exhibition, Mikiya discovered a doll that captivated him with its flawless craftsmanship. Enchanted by the piece, he tracked down its creator, Touko Aozaki, and located her hidden residence. When Shiki’s coma dashed their hopes of entering college together, Mikiya dropped out and became an assistant investigator under Touko. She values his investigative prowess highly, specifically noting his unique ability to locate her workplace, an abandoned building concealed from everyone except those who actively seek it out. The male Shiki and the current Shiki nickname him Cocteau due to his surname’s similarity to Jean Cocteau, although the current Shiki harbors an unexplained dislike for the moniker. The younger version of Mikiya is voiced by Eri Kitamura.
