Summary

Albedo serves as the Overseer of the Floor Guardians within the Great Tomb of Nazarick, holding a rank superior to all other NPCs. Created by Tabula Smaragdina, she manages the general administration and supervises the seven Floor Guardians, making her the sister of Nigredo and Spinel. Her appearance is that of an impeccable beauty with lustrous jet-black hair, a goddess-like face, and golden irises featuring vertically split pupils. Two thick, crooked horns protrude from her temples, while a pair of black angel wings extend from her waist. She typically wears a pure white dress, silky gloves, and a golden spiderweb necklace across her shoulders and chest. In battle, she dons impressive black full plate armor with a unique helm and wields a battle-axe. As a heteromorphic race NPC, her true form is likely massive, a trait highlighted by Shalltear’s insult of her being a "big mouthed gorilla" during their arguments. Albedo is defined by her extreme loyalty and obsessive infatuation with Momonga, a condition resulting from Momonga using administrative privileges in Yggdrasil to edit her character history to be "madly in love" with him. This leads to jealous outbursts whenever others approach him. Among the Guardians, she is the most vocal, openly denouncing actions she deems inappropriate, which Momonga sometimes finds annoying. Despite this, she remains levelheaded, offering calm judgments and prioritizing Ainz’s orders absolutely, punishing anyone who belittles them. Like most in Nazarick, she holds a deep loathing for humans, viewing them as inferior. Notably, Albedo does not appear in the web novel version of the story.
