Synopsis
Noriko Tachiki often dreams of a beautiful fantasy world, but her friends dismiss these visions as mere imagination. One day on her way home, she finds what looks like a paper bag, which turns out to be a bomb that detonates right in front of her. Against all odds, she survives and wakes up in a mystical forest filled with strange plants and creatures. Lost and struggling to navigate this unfamiliar place, Noriko is attacked by a giant worm-like monster. Just when hope seems lost, she is rescued by Izark Kia Tarj, a silent swordsman whose language she cannot understand. Realizing she cannot survive alone, Noriko decides to stick with Izark, using the opportunity to learn his language and help him in return. What Noriko does not realize is that she holds a key role in an ancient prophecy as "The Awakening," one destined to unleash the fearsome Sky Demon. As powerful individuals try to exploit her supposed powers, Noriko and Izark must shield each other and brace for an uncertain future full of trials.
