Summary
Noriko Tachiki is a high school student portrayed as an ordinary, somewhat insecure girl who finds herself transported to a strange world following a bomb explosion. Upon her arrival, she encounters Izark, who becomes her first friend and teaches her his language. Unbeknownst to her, she is actually The Awakening, a figure sought after by numerous nations. Many neighboring countries operate under the belief that capturing The Awakening will grant them control over the Sky Demon. Noriko develops romantic feelings for Izark relatively early in the narrative, promising him that she will never leave his side and will remain by his side forever.
